Individual Therapy Children (Ages 8 - 13)
We require that families be involved in their children’s treatment when clients are under the age of 13. Many of our treatments are family based. These include Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Restorative Justice, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Filial Play Therapy. We require caregiver-only sessions and if helpful, family sessions, in tandem with individual therapy for children.
-
Caregiver Coaching and Support
We offer caregiver-only sessions to support the emotionally difficult task of raising a neurodivergent or traumatized youth. Caregivers often receive vicarious or secondary trauma which if left untreated can lead to feelings of detachment, low self-esteem, isolation and many other negative outcomes.

Individual Therapy Adolescents (ages 14 - 17)
In Oregon, 14 year olds are given the right to be in charge of their therapy. Therefore, family therapy is only involved in adolescent treatment if your teen includes it in their treatment plan. We support adolescents in understanding and improving their mental health as well as exploring their identities and building healthy relationships. We have experience in supporting adolescents in healing from childhood sexual trauma, abuse and neglect; exploring and understanding their sexual and gender identities; treating anxiety and depression; and building skills to be successful in school, at work and in relationships. We use techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ecotherapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support clients.
-
Individual Therapy Adults (ages 18+)
We are comfortable using many experiential and somatic treatment approaches including ecotherapy and mindfulness-based interventions. We incorporate movement and play into sessions. In sessions, we may use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ecotherapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Restorative Justice, Non-violent Communication, Motivational Interviewing and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Family Therapy
We use a family systems approach to support you in changing your family dynamics. We recommend family therapy when clients are still living with caregivers, but family therapy can also be useful in healing relationships between adult family members.

Group Therapy
We believe that being supported by peers and people who have shared experiences can be very effective in helping you change and heal. We currently offer two nature-based groups at a park in East Portland. The group for adults meets on the first Friday of the month, and one for parents/caregivers meets on the third Friday of the month.
-
Consultation & Supervision
We enjoy consulting with other clinicians and can provide information on how to incorporate nature-based interventions into your practice. We offer supervision for unlicensed clinicians and will be starting a nature-based supervision group soon.
